2. The five-stage mortgage workflow

Most tools for loan officers are not direct substitutes; they work at different stages. We map every tool against the same five stages:

We recheck every comparison at least every 6 months, sooner when a company changes its pricing, and update the "Reviewed" date. Pricing and features change; always confirm on the company's own site before you buy.

5. Conflicts of interest
